“Sankalp” is a Registered Organization with Govt. of INDIA (U/S Society Act) Registration Number- 528  and all the donations, received by us, are free U/S 80G of Income Tax, as per norms in Indian Constitution.

Main moto of our organisation is to make our society a healthy & a better place to live. We are working to cure T.B. Patients from last 12 years in full swing under a  running campaign “Kshaya Mukta Kashi Nirog Kashi”. Our Organization register the patients as per the agenda for the year and all the registered patients, i.e., Poor , Helpless & others people who are neglected by their own, are well treated by the Doctor’s in our Camp. While a patient is treated by us , from the beginning of the treatment till they become cure, the entire treatment is totally free including Medicinal Charges, Pathology, radiology etc. Normally a patient is under our supervision for 6 months to 2 years and as it is well known that it is a infectious decease and the patient has to be very careful during his entire treatment tenure.

In this decease, the patient has to take the medicine without any gap for the period, instructed by the doctor and any gap in the medicine may cause the restart of the treatment from the beginning. The full treatment on one patient costs approx. Rs.10000.00 for a year.

In our camp some of the recognized and famous Specialist Doctors offer their services in the camp during the camp duration. As it is well known that T.B. virus doesn’t see the age or the part of body, it can happen any time to any person. So by  keeping it in mind, we give the free service of Heart Specialist, Lungs Specialist, Pediatrics and Orthopedic doctors in our camp.

We observes that some patient sell the medicine in the market, which are handed over to them, free of cost, for their better treatment, due to poverty. To avoid the misuse of the medicines and the valuable time of the doctors, patients are instructed to return the empty wraps to the organization at their next visit in the camp. The percentage of success of the camp can be measured by this point that not only the local patients of Varanasi participate’s in the camp, but also the people from the neighboring districts visits us in the hope of help and we are glad to serve them happily.

Sankalp also organize the seminars, awareness camps, stick posters and banners to make the people aware by the cause of T.B and the way of prevention as the Golden Words say that “Prevention is better than cure”.

Sankalp is  climbing the stair of  success bit by bit by successfully treating approx 8600 patients and we consider that by treating them fully in which not only the patients are saved, but their families are also secured. Our organization is a legally constituted, non-governmental organization created by legal persons with no participation or representation of any government bodies and it generates the funds from their Members, Donors and Corporate sectors.

Sankalp also adopts 100 children every year and take responsibility of there study (from class 6- class 12) including fee , uniform and study material . We also promote young talent by providing them stage to perform to give there carrier a kick start . 

Sankalp also encourage women’s of our society to take stand on there own by conducting different professional coursers for free like beautification , cake making, pot making , dance , embroidery etc, so that whenever its needed they can take care of there family by there skills. 

Sankalp also warm welcomes the celebrity visiting the Varanasi and tell them about the pride & culture of the Varanasi.   

Sankalp also run many programs for saving Environment  such as distribution of cloth bag instead of plastic bag, plantation and distribution of medicinal plant Tulsi, cleaning & conservation of ancient ponds of Varanasi , celebrating our festivals in mythological way to let our younger generation know about it .

We are planning to open a multi- specialty hospital in coming future for the patient’s suffering from Tuberculosis of any kind , will be treated under one roof.
